Sophie McDonald was named to the SCAC All-Tournament Team for her outstanding performance at the championship this past weekend.
Sophie McDonald, a junior from Longview, was named to the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference All-Tournament team for her outstanding performance at the 2013 conference championship last weekend.
McDonald was one of two players to earn All-Tournament honors at flight two singles, and along with teammate Meghan White was one of two Austin College players to be recognized. McDonald cruised to a 6-2, 6-1 victory playing number two singles against Centenary in the opening round to earn her this honor. She also teamed with Lizzie Flint to win at flight one doubles by a score of 8-2 against the Ladies.
