In the first game of the day against Dallas Christian, the 'Roos found themselves in a 2-0 hole after three innings, before a Todd Takabuki triple brought home a run in the top of the fourth to make it a 2-1 game. In the second game of the day against Oklahoma Baptist, the Bisons plated four runs in the bottom of the third before Austin College answered back with a four run sixth inning to square things up. James Arguello and Chance Hatchel each drove in a run during the rally, with two more runs coming home by way of throwing errors.
However, OBU would load the bases with two outs and draw a bases loaded walk in the bottom of the seventh to earn a 5-4 walk-off victory. Gus Daniel went 2-for-3 to pace Austin College offensively, while Marshall Korn took the loss, going 1.2 innings in relief and surrendering one unearned run with no hits, with three walks issued.
