Takabuki, a senior first baseman from Honolulu, Hawaii, went 3-for-3 against Dallas Christian and 1-for-3 against Oklahoma Baptist in the team's only two games in the rain shortened week. The lefty had a triple and scored a run, and boasted a 1.000 slugging percentage in the two non-conference games.

For the year, Takabuki is batting a team-high .389 with a .583 slugging percentage, having hit five doubles and scored five runs on the year. Takabuki also boats a .476 on-base percentage, the best on the team.
