This Week in AC Athletics, 2/12 - 2/18

Happy Valentine’s Day, #RooNation.  Men’s & Women’s Tennis had a big weekend in Abilene, Softball came roaring back from a 9-run deficit at home, and Women’s Basketball kept their foot on the “gas-pedal” going into the final week of the regular season.

It was a big weekend for Austin College Athletics, but with the SCAC Swimming & Diving Championships starting today in The Colony, TX, we don’t want to waste any time recapping last weekend and updating you about some changes in competitions this weekend.  It’s time for the AC Athletics Update!

After a split with Howard Payne in their home opener, the Kangaroos had the second half of their double-header cancelled due to weather conditions after falling 10-8 to Hendrix in 5 innings.

The forecast this week calls for poor weather conditions and Austin College has elected to postpone their double-header with Texas A&M-Texarkana until further notice.  The ‘Roos hit the road for the next few weeks until March 17th when they open SCAC play at home against University of Dallas.
