Colorado College out-rebounded the Austin College women's basketball team 43-25 on Saturday on their way to handing the 'Roos a 53-45 loss in Colorado Springs. The 'Roos are now 3-6 overall and 0-4 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with the loss.
Austin College struggled to get going offensively in the first half, scoring just 15 points before the break. The 'Roos knocked down 6-of-8 three pointers in the second half but were unable to make up the difference despite 15 points, including 4-of-5 shooting from long distance, from Shayna Clardy. Clardy was the lone 'Roo in double figures, and scored 13 of her 15 points after halftime.
