'Roo Women's Hoops Hosting Free Clinic Benefiting Toys for Tots
For the second straight year the Austin College women's basketball team is hosting a free clinic to benefit Toys for Tots, this year to take place on December 2.
For the second straight year the Austin College women's basketball team is working with Toys for Tots to put on a free clinic for area youths, which will take place on Sunday, December 2 from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Hughey Gymnasium.
The women's basketball team and coaching staff will be working with children in grades three through eight during this free clinic, teaching the fundamentals of basketball including dribbling, passing, shooting, defense, and teamwork. Parents are welcome and encouraged to observe the clinic. Participants are encouraged to bring a small, unwrapped, holiday toy to donate to the local Toys for Tots.
