Chris Abad-Jacobi, a freshman on the Austin College men's soccer team, tallied twice in a span of 67 seconds in the second half against Centenary on Sunday to lift the 'Roos to their first win of the season. Abad-Jacobi's two goals completed a comeback from a 2-0 hole and gave the 'Roos a 3-2 victory.
Abad-Jacobi, a midfielder from Houston, scored first in the 63rd minute of action to knot the game at 2-2 and then scored moments later to give the 'Roos a one goal lead they would not relinquish. For the season, Abad-Jacobi leads the 'Roos with four goals and eight total points. In the team's 15 games, he's been incredibly efficient, scoring on four of his 12 shots on the year, which includes nine shots on goal. His shots on goal percentage of .750 leads the team by a wide margin.
