Seven Baseball 'Roos Earn All-SCAC

CLEBURNE, Texas - Seven members of the Austin College baseball team earned All-Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference recognition, highlighted by Carlos Michinaux and Desmond Squalls being named second team, after their outstanding performances during the 2026 season, the league office has announced.

'Roos Split with Hendrix to Close Out Season

CONWAY, Ark. - The Austin College baseball team split a doubleheader against Hendrix College on Saturday, winning the first game 8-6 before dropping a narrow 9-8 decision in the second contest. With the split, the 'Roos are eliminated from Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament contention and finish the year with an overall record to 17-19 and 14-14 in conference play. The 14 conference victories are a new program record for SCAC wins in a season.

CONWAY, Ark. - The Austin College baseball team fell to Hendrix College by a final score of 12-2 on Thursday evening at Warrior Field in a game that ended after seven innings via the run-rule. The 'Roos drop to 16-18 overall and 13-13 in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference on the season, while Hendrix improves to 20-18 and 15-13 in conference play.
