Noah Jesko passed for 298 yards and three touchdowns against Hendrix on Saturday afternoon, nearly leading the 'Roos to an improbable comeback win and earning Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week honors.
Jesko, a senior quarterback from Dalhart, completed 24-of-44 passes and tossed three second half touchdowns in the 38-28 loss at Hendrix. For the season, Jesko now ranks second in the SCAC with 1,362 yards and 10 touchdowns as he leads the team into conference action over the final three weeks of the schedule.
His 298 yards pushed him over the 5,000 yard mark for his career, and he now stands at 5,215 yards as a four year starter for the 'Roos.
