Collin Vu, Swimming

Collin Vu, a junior swimmer from Rowlett, had a record breaking performance for the 'Roos in the team's away meet at Colorado College. Vu broke his own program record in the 50 freestyle, coming in with a time of 21.59. His previous record was 21.80, which he set last season.

Vu finished first in that event against the Tigers, continuing his strong season. Vu's name is all over the Austin College men's swimming record book, with three individual records in addition to being part of four relay records.

In addition to the 50 free, Vu also owns the record in the 100 free and the 500 free, and was a member of the record setting teams in the 400 medley relay, the 200 free relay, the 400 free relay, and the 800 free relay.
