Madison Galvan, Cross Country

Madison Galvan had the second fastest time in Austin College women's cross country history in the 6k at the East Texast Baptist University Meet on Saturday, as well as the fastest time in that event ever by a freshman for the 'Roos.

Galvan, a first year runner from Georgetown, finished with a time of 25:22.40 to finish 17th overall and lead the 'Roos to a 5th place effort in the 12 team meet. She was one of five runners who came in with either program or personal best times to complete the meet in the top half of the finishing teams. Galvan was the second highest finisher among Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference runners.
