Katie Ingle surpassed 2,000 career assists for her career as the 'Roos went 4-0.
Katie Ingle, a sophomore on the Kangaroo volleyball team, surpassed 2,000 career assists this week with a big performance against Belhaven, in which she notched 47 in a 3-1 victory. Ingle also recently surpassed 1,000 assists for the 2016 season, and currently ranks second in the SCAC in assists-per-set and total assists.
Ingle, a setter from Allen, helped the 'Roos to a 4-0 weekend at Centenary's Halloween Invitational. Ingle finishes the regular season with an average of 10.47 assists-per-set and 1,235 assists on the year, playing in three of the team's final four regular season matches this weekend while adding 20 assists in a 3-0 win over LeTourneau and 39 more in a 3-0 sweep of Millsaps.
Ingle and the 'Roos finish the regular season with a record of 23-13, clinching the fourth seed in the 2016 SCAC Championship Tournament.
