Josh Quinn, a senior on the Austin College men's basketball team from Sunnyvale, had a career weekend to help the 'Roos earn their first Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory of the season at the University of Dallas.
Quinn averaged 18.0 points-per-game and shot 47.6% from three point range in two games, while adding 3.5 rebounds, 3.5 assists, 3.0 steals, and 2.0 blocks-per-game. Quinn knocked down five threes on his way to 15 points in a narrow loss to Colorado College, and then poured in a career-best 21 points, again hitting five threes, as the 'Roos defeated Dallas on the road. Quinn went 5-of-10 from deep in the game, adding four assists and knocking down a corner three with under a minute left to seal the victory.
For the year, Quinn is averaging 8.9 points-per-game and shooting 40.5% from long distance.
