Gwin, a freshman guard from San Antonio, has been one of the top performing first year players in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference this season, averaging 9.3 points, 2.2 rebounds, and 1.9 assists-per-game while averaging 21 minutes off the bench for the nationally ranked 'Roos. Gwin ranks second in the SCAC with a 40% clip from three point range, and her numbers have gotten even better against conference competition. In 10 games against SCAC opponents, her scoring average has risen to 11.2 points-per-game while her three point shooting has been a blistering 46.3%. Gwin has notched double-digits in the scoring column nine times this year, with a career-best 19 coming in a win against St. Thomas in December.
