Hogan Named Modern Woodmen Student-Athlete of the Week

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College Athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen Fraternal Financial Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo men's basketball player Kam Hogan.

Hogan, a junior guard from Memphis, Tennessee, delivered a dramatic victory to the 'Roos last Friday night against Colorado College when he drilled a 40-foot, double-clutch buzzer beater over two defenders. The game-winning three gave Austin College a 79-77 victory, capping off a double-digit comeback in which the 'Roos trailed by as many as 21 points. Hogan finished the game with 16 points, including nine in the second half, and added four assists. In his career, Hogan has totaled 808 points, and has added 193 assists, 182 rebounds, and 104 steals in his three seasons in Sherman.
