Catchpole Named Modern Woodmen Student-Athlete of the Week

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo men's soccer player Louis Catchpole.

Catchpole, a senior forward originally from Kent, England, was named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week following a pair of outstanding performances against Mary Hardin-Baylor and Mississippi University for Women. Catchpole scored four goals and added an assist for a total of nine points last week, including a hat trick against MUW. After finishing last season second in the league in goals, he's currently tied for the top spot in the SCAC with five goals on the year, and ranks first in total points with 12.
