Clouse Named Modern Woodmen Student-Athlete of the Week
SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's tennis player Karsyn Clouse.
SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's tennis player Karsyn Clouse.
Clouse, a sophomore from Denison, had an outstanding weekend as the 'Roos competed at ITA Regionals on the campus of Trinity University last weekend. Clouse reached the semifinals of the Flight C singles draw, earning a 6-3, 6-1 opening round win over University of Dallas player Sofia Cantu, before topping Lanae Blankenship of Hardin-Simmons University 6-1, 6-1 in the quarterfinals.
