Folse Named Modern Woodmen Student-Athlete of the Week

SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo volleyball player TJ Folse.

Folse, a junior from Deport, has had an outstanding season for the 'Roos, helping the team take sole possession of first place in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Blue Division with a pair of wins over St. Thomas and Colorado College last weekend. Folse and the 'Roo volleyball team have now won seven straight matches and boast an overall record of 12-6, and a conference mark of 5-0. Folse ranks among the top five in the SCAC in both total kills with 170, good for fourth in the league, and total digs with 250, ranking her fifth.
