Cesarz, a first-year player from McKinney, had an oustanding showing at the ITA Fall Regionals hosted by Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene last weekend. In her first major collegiate competition, Cesarz won the tournament's C-Draw Singles, opening up play with a hardfought 6-2, 7-6 (7-2) victory over her opponent from Schreiner University. That victory propelled her to the C-Draw finals, where she took on another Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference opponent, this time from McMurry University. Cesarz was dominant in the championship match, winning by scores of 6-0, 6-0 to claim the crown.
Modern Woodmen of America is proud to recognize and support the ongoing achievements of Austin College student-athletes. Their North Texas Region understands that the pursuit of excellence on and off the field creates a foundation for continued excellence after graduation.
