Clepper Named Modern Woodmen Athlete of the Week
SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's swimmer Lili Clepper.
SHERMAN, Texas - Austin College athletics is excited to announce the Modern Woodmen of America Student-Athlete of the Week, an award highlighting our great student-athletes on and off the field of play each week. This week's honoree is 'Roo women's swimmer Lili Clepper.
Clepper, a first-year swimmer from League City, has gotten her first collegiate season off to a strong start including this past weekend as Austn College hosted Southwestern University. Clepper took home the gold in the 50 freestyle at the meet, coming in with a time of 27.18 to narrowly get the victory by .06 seconds. Clepper also posted a season best time in the 100 butterfly, and led off the 200 free relay with a team-best time of 26.44, and she also had a season-best relay split in the 100 freestyle while anchoring the 400 medley relay.
