Camarena, a sophomore center defender from Houston, has been outstanding for Austin College throughout the season, helping the 'Roos to a 5-3 mark in the MPSF as the team heads into this weekend's conference championships. The 'Roos open up the MPSF Tournament against Wheaton, who they recently defeated to wrap up the regular season with Camarena tallying a goal with one ejection drawn in the win. In the team's last quartet of games to end the regular season, Camarena scored six goals, including two each against Connecticut College and Johns Hopkins. Camarena is also a member of the Austin College swim team.
Modern Woodmen of America is proud to recognize and support the ongoing achievements of Austin College student-athletes. Their North Texas Region understands that the pursuit of excellence on and off the field creates a foundation for continued excellence after graduation.
