Leeworthy, a junior from Walnut, Calif., has had a huge impact on the 'Roos in his first year in the program. Most recently, he put together an outstanding performance in the team's regular season finale at Centenary College, winning the 100 yard breaststroke with a time of 1:01.45, and also teaming with Hudson Rivers-Seale, Flyn Hughes, and Kamil Murugan to place second in the 200 yard medley relay against both the Gents and the University of St. Thomas. Earlier this season, Leeworthy earned Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Swimmer of the Week accolades following a home meet against UST in which he swept the 50 and 100 yard breastroke races. In addition to being a top contributor for the 'Roo swim team, Leeworthy is also a standout performer for the Austin College men's water polo team.
Modern Woodmen of America is proud to recognize and support the ongoing achievements of Austin College student-athletes. Their North Texas Region understands that the pursuit of excellence on and off the field creates a foundation for continued excellence after graduation.
