Williams, a senior forward from Howe, had had an outstanding season for the 'Roos as they've moved into first place in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Blue Division with four straight wins. Williams heads into this weekend's road contests averaging 8.4 points and 4.8 rebounds per game, both career bests. She also ranks among the conference leaders in three-point percentage, knocking down 42% of her attempts so far this season. Williams has notched double figures in the scoring column five times this season, with a high of 17 in a road win at Howard Payne earlier this year, and recently knocked down 4-of-6 threes to finish with 12 points in a huge win over SCAC Blue Division rival Hendrix College, a victory that moved the 'Roos above the Warriors in the standings.
Modern Woodmen of America is proud to recognize and support the ongoing achievements of Austin College student-athletes. Their North Texas Region understands that the pursuit of excellence on and off the field creates a foundation for continued excellence after graduation.
