CeBallos, a senior right-handed pitcher from McKinney, tossed a gem for his fourth victory of the season as he went the distance against the University of St. Thomas on Friday evening at Baker Field. CeBallos improved to 4-0 behind a complete game win, scattering seven hits while surrendering just two unearned runs in a 6-2 win. He also struck out eight batters, and boasted a WHIP of 0.89, his second best performance in that category this season. So far this year, CeBallos has made five starts, with the 'Roos winning each of those five contests, and his eight strikeouts against the Celts are his season-high. That number also marks the second highest single-game total in his career, behind a 13 strikeout effort in 2024.
Modern Woodmen of America is proud to recognize and support the ongoing achievements of Austin College student-athletes. Their North Texas Region understands that the pursuit of excellence on and off the field creates a foundation for continued excellence after graduation.
