This Week in Kangaroo Athletics

The rain is coming and so is the holiday break, but the 'Roos are still in action with baseball, softball, and cheer all competing this week as we kick off the new month navigating some April showers!

Things get started tonight for the Austin College baseball team, as the 'Roos step out of conference play to take on East Texas Baptist in a single game at 6:00 p.m. at Baker Field. The weather has shifted around this weekend's home schedule for Austin College as the 'Roos welcome SCAC opponent McMurry University to campus, starting with a 6:00 p.m. game on Friday, followed by a doubleheader beginning at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. Prior to Saturday's games, the 'Roos will also be celebrating Senior Day.

The 'Roo cheer squad is in its final week of preparation for NCA Nationals, starting with an NCA Showcase in Hughey Gym tonight with doors opening at 6:30 p.m. The team will be heading Lake Highlands on Friday for another NCA Showcase, this time hosted by Texas Tech at 6:00 p.m.

Finally, the Austin College softball team is headed to Abilene this weekend for a three-game series at McMurry, beginning with a doubleheader at 4:30 p.m. on Friday, followed by a single game on Saturday at 11:00 a.m.
