The Austin College baseball team struggled to get anything going offensively and fell behind 3-0 early, eventually falling 4-0 at Centenary on Saturday evening. The 'Roos are now 9-6 overall and 0-1 in SCAC play.
Centenary struck first with a run in the second, and plated two more in the third to go ahead 3-0 following three full innings. That remained the score until the sixth, when the Gents tacked on another run to make it 4-0, and Austin College would be unable to generate any runs over the final few innings.
Josh Lewis took the loss for Austin College, surrendering four runs on 12 hits in 7.0 innings of work while striking out four batters. Austin Dudley went 2-for-3 as the 'Roos were held to just three hits in the game.
