'Roo Softball Weekend Schedule Shifted

SHERMAN, Texas - With more inclement weather expected to roll through Texoma this weekend, the Austin College softball team's home series against Schreiner University has been shifted from Saturday and Sunday to Friday and Saturday. Friday's game will also now be played at Texoma Health Foundation Park in Denison.

The series was initially slated to be played with a doubleheader at noon on Saturday and a single game at noon on Sunday, with all three games to be played at Sherman High, but with storms anticipated beginning later in the day on Saturday and continuing throughout Sunday, game one of the series will now be at 5:00 p.m. at THF on Friday. That game will be played on Field D at the facility. Unfortunately, due to the date, time, and venue change, Austin College will be unable to stream that game, but live stats will be available.

Saturday's doubleheader remains mostly the same, with the twinbill still to be played at Sherman High - with livestreaming still taking place - but will now start at 10:00 a.m., a start time that has been moved up two hours in an effort to make sure both games are completed before weather hits the area.
