Trott Named SCAC Pitcher of the Week

SUWANEE, Ga. - Austin College softball player Lauren Trott has been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Week after an outstanding performance to help the 'Roos complete a series sweep over Hendrix College.

Trott, a senior from Aubrey, made the final game of her career a memorable one, tossing just the second no-hitter in program history and the first seven-inning no-hitter for the 'Roos since the program returned in 2007. Trott earned a 2-0 win against Hendrix in the final game of the series, striking out two batters with a 0.29 WHIP. She also helped herself at the plate, going 3-for-3 with a double, a triple, and an RBI.
