Late Rally Comes Up Short for 'Roo Women

SHERMAN, Texas – The Austin College women’s basketball team rallied from a 10-point deficit in the final 1:15 to have a chance to win it at the buzzer, but the ’Roos couldn’t quite overcome the University of Texas-Dallas in a 58-54 loss on Saturday afternoon in Hughey Gym.

'Roos Drop Heartbreaker at East Texas Baptist

MARSHALL, Texas - Austin College led by as many as 10 points but East Texas Baptist battled back and handed the 'Roos a 61-60 loss thanks to a three-point play with under 10 seconds to go. Austin College falls to 2-2 overall this year with the loss.

Austin College Women Roll Past Millsaps

SHERMAN, Texas – Bryce Frank led a balanced scoring effort with 18 points and the Austin College women’s basketball team shot 51.5% from the field as the ‘Roos rolled past Millsaps College 83-63 on Sunday afternoon in Hughey Gym. The ‘Roos are now 2-1 overall this season.

Hot Shooting Leads 'Roo Women Past Hendrix

SHERMAN, Texas – Kacie West and Ann Savage combined to go 9-of-13 from beyond the arc and the Austin College women’s basketball team got 43 points off the bench on their way to an 81-66 victory over visiting Hendrix College on Saturday afternoon in Hughey Gym.
