Women's Soccer Opens SCAC Play with Win
The Austin College women's soccer team opened Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 1-0 road victory at Centenary College on Wednesday night in Shreveport.

The Austin College women's soccer team opened Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference with a 1-0 road victory at Centenary College on Wednesday night in Shreveport. The 'Roos are now 2-3 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
The 'Roos used a goal from Lauren Scott in the 76th minute of action to get the victory, with Franchesca Lozoya earning the shutout with six saves in goal. The 'Roos were out-shot by Centenary in the match, but used a 6-5 second half shot advantage on their way to the win.
Austin College is back in action on Friday when they travel to Memphis to take on Rhodes College at 4:00 p.m.
