Sergiovanni, Carvajalino Named SCAC Doubles Team of the Week

LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. – Austin College women's tennis players Diana Carvajalino and Anna Sergiovanni have been named the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Doubles Team of the Week, the league office has announced. This is the second straight week the duo has earned this honor. 

Carvajalino, a sophomore from Hurst, and Sergiovanni, a sophomore from Richardson, won their match against Whitworth in the team's only competition of the week. The 'Roos swept Whitworth, ranked #18 in the West Region at the end of 2017, by a score of 9-0 with Carvajalino and Sergiovanni winning 8-2 at line one doubles. 

Austin College athletic teams participate as a member of the NCAA Division III and the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.
