Colorado College Tops 'Roos in Season Finale
SHERMAN, Texas - The Austin College men's and women's tennis teams hosted Colorado College on Saturday at the Jordan Family Courts, with both 'Roo squads falling by scores of 7-0 to the Tigers in the final match of the year for Austin College tennis.

In the men's match, Colorado College took an early lead by sweeping all three doubles positions. Cameron McIver and Timothy Wallace fell 6-2 at the number one spot, while Wyatt Fischer and Patrick Fenner dropped a 6-1 decision at number two doubles. Joel Colunga and Jace Warner were defeated 6-0 in the third flight.
The Tigers continued their momentum through singles play, winning all six matches in straight sets. McIver won two games in his second set against Dominik Kaminski at the top flight, and Fischer took two games in each of his sets at number three singles. Wallace and Warner also managed to take games in their respective matches, but the 'Roos were unable to break through for a set victory.
The women's match followed a similar pattern as the Tigers earned a 7-0 victory. In doubles action, the pairs of Olivia Sanchez and Emma Davidson, Lauren Hofeldt and Ashlyn Alexander, and Abby Sadler and Elizabeth Mojica were all held scoreless in 6-0 losses.
During the singles portion of the afternoon, the 'Roos struggled to find footing against the SCAC regular season champions. Alexander provided the lone game for Austin College in singles play, falling 6-0, 6-1 at the number five position. Sanchez, Hofeldt, Mojica, Davidson, and Lauren Walker were all defeated in 6-0, 6-0 matches as Colorado College completed the sweep.
