Austin College Volleyball Earns Conference Victory
CLARKSDALE, Ark. - The Austin College volleyball team improved to 7-5 overall and 1-1 in Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference play with a road victory at the University of Ozarks on Sunday, cruising to a 3-0 victory over the Eagles behind a balanced attack that saw 11 players record at least one kill.

Austin College was dominant throughout, picking up a first set win of 25-13 and coasting to a 25-11 victory in the second set, before closing things out with a 25-17 score in the third to clinch the match. The 'Roos hit .293 as a team, while Ozarks had a -0.045 attacking percentage in the match. Madisin Hartsfield had 11 kills with a .588 attacking percentage to lead Austin College, and Rachel Sadler added eight kills, two assists, and five digs.
Samantha Graham chipped in six kills in eight attempts for a .750 hitting percentage, and Madison manning led the 'Roos with 14 assists while adding seven digs. Katie Riemer chipped in seven digs, and Laynie Kovacs had a match-best 14 digs with two service aces. Manning also had a pair of aces to lead Austin College.
