Volleyball Sweeps Dallas in Road SCAC Match
IRVING, Texas - The Austin College volleyball team picked up an important Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference victory as the 'Roos continue to vie for one of six spots in the conference tournament next month, sweeping the University of Dallas to improve to 12-7 overall and 6-3 in SCAC play. The 'Roos currently find themselves in second place in the SCAC Blue Division.

The 'Roos established control early, winning the first set 25-21 before cruising to a 25-13 victory in set two. Austin College hit .423 in the opening set and .417 in the second, wrapping things up with a 25-17 match clincher in set three. Austin College finished the evening hitting .387 as a team, compared to just .102 for Dallas.
Madisin Hartsfield had 10 kills in 12 attempts with zero attacking errors for a scorching .833 hitting percentage, adding three total blocks in the win. Samantha Graham had seven kills with a .500 attacking percentage, and Madisn Manning paced the 'Roos with 15 assists. Laynie Kovacs had a match-high 12 digs and added seven assists and three service aces.
