'Roo Volleyball Clinches SCAC Tournament Berth
SHREVEPORT, La. - The Austin College volleyball team secured its spot in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference Tournament on Tuesday evening with a 3-0 road sweep at Centenary College, bringing the 'Roos to 17-10 overall and 10-4 in SCAC play this year.

The 'Roos completed their season sweep of the Ladies by winning with scores of 25-15, 25-17, 25-20 to lock up their spot at the conference championships, which will take place in Kerrville on the campus of Schreiner University. It was a balanced attack for the 'Roos, who hit .280 as a team compared to a .000 percentage for Centenary, with the Ladies registering 25 attacking errors along with their 25 total kills. The 'Roos, meanwhile, had 32 total kills and just 11 attacking errors as a team.
Caroline Smith, Rachel Sadler, and Selah Coleman each had five kills to pace the 'Roos, with Sadler also leading Austin College with seven digs and seven service aces while also posting a .571 hitting percentage. Samantha Graham chipped in four kills, as did Ivy Walsh, who had a pair of block assists and a .429 hitting percentage. Madison Manning had a match-high 16 assists in the victory.
