Austin College Volleyball Earns AVCA Team Academic Award

LEXINGTON, Ky. - In an announcement made by the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA), Austin College is one of a record-setting seven SCAC programs to earn the AVCA Team Academic Award for the 2025-2026 season.

Austin College, Colorado College, Hendrix College, LeTourneau University, McMurry University, Schreiner University and University of St. Thomas were seven of the 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball teams, including 234 Division III women's programs to be honored for recording a minimum combined 3.30 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale, or a 4.10 cumulative team GPA on a 5.0 scale. This is the fourth straight year that Austin College has earned this honor.

The seven SCAC programs recognized are tied for the most in league history, matching the mark set in 2024.
