'Roos Get Dominant Wins Over Wheaton and PSB

Joslyn Dimitri scored five goals to lead Austin College past Wheaton, with Bianca Gallegos adding four to help the 'Roos coast to the victory after taking a 3-2 lead after one and a 9-2 lead heading into halftime.
Austin College completely put the game away in the second half, and in particular the fourth quarter. The 'Roos grew the margin to 14-4 heading into the final frame before exploding for nine goals in the final eight minutes of action to take the 23-5 win. Austin College used a dominant effort on both offense and defense in the game, firing 46 shots compared to just 16 for Wheaton. The 'Roos had a .500 shooting percentage, with Wheaton being limited to .313 in that category.
McKenna Malone, Mikhaela Torres, and Camila Diarte each scored three times, and Connie Garcia and Sophia King each tallied twice. Caroline Armstrong and Ashlyn Thomas both found the back of the cage once in the win.
Dimitri erupted for eight goals to lead Austin College to a 23-10 win in the team's second game of the day against Penn State Behrend, as the 'Roos once again utilized a big second half to secure the victory. The first half was tightly contested, as the 'Roos led 4-3 after the opening frame and 9-6 at halftime, but another nine-goal quarter, this time in the third period, put the game out of reach.
Austin College pushed its lead to 18-9 heading into the fourth and never looked back, limiting PSB to one goal in the fourth to secure the lopsided victory. Diarte scored five goals and Gallegos added four, while Kind scored twice and Torres, Thomas, Clara Koenig, and SJ Johnson each scored once.
